REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Should you wish to return or cancel your order of SQE Study Notes and/or SQE Flashcards, the refund and cancellation policy (including our policy on lost, stolen or delayed orders) is as follows:

 

Refund Orders & The Return Process

  1. Within 14 days of receiving your order, please write to us with your order number at sqeprep@revisionkiller.com stating that you would like to return your order for a refund and your brief reasons for doing so. For the purposes of calculating the return period, the 14 day period will commence on the day you received your order by reference to your order tracking information;

  2. We will confirm your request by email and provide you with a return address of where to send the refund order. Enclose your order number, name and address with the order. You must obtain a shipping/posting confirmation from your delivery partner for your records and please ensure the refund order is securely packaged and insured. If the refund order is damaged or lost in transit to us, a refund will not be issued.  Refund orders must be returned to us within 14 days of the date of the email confirming that your refund request has been approved.  Refund orders that reach us outside the 14 day period will not be refunded;

  3. On receipt of the refund order, provided the goods are unused and in re-saleable condition, we will issue a refund for the sum you have paid less our original cost of shipping to you (i.e. we will deduct the initial cost of the Royal Mail/Evri tracked postage to you);

  4. Your payment will be refunded through your original payment method and should arrive in your account within 5 working days.

Lost & Stolen Policy 

  1. Regrettably due to the increasing number of orders being falsely reported as lost or stolen by SQE students, we have taken the decision to thoroughly investigate each incident with our delivery partner when a customer files such a claim. This involves us examining photo and GPS evidence along with a request by the delivery partner to revisit the property; 

  2. Instances of theft, dishonesty,  and/or false representation will be reported to the police and the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) as such conduct is a clear breach of the SRA Principles and Code of Conduct and incompatible with the core values of the legal profession. We actively pursue individuals through the Small Claims Court who misuse the credit card charge back provisions by canceling payment but then failing to return the goods to us (known as cyber shoplifting);

  3. If your order is lost in transit, it is your responsibility in the first instance to check the tracking information and the GPS delivery location with the delivery partner.  You must file a compensation claim directly with the delivery partner for a lost parcel using the tracking information we have given to you in your shipping confirmation email. A replacement parcel will not be re-sent by Revision Killer and you will have to place a new order should you require the product;

  4. If an order has been delivered to the correct address as confirmed by the tracking information but the parcel has been stolen from your safe place, a refund will not be issued. If you are not in a position to accept delivery or do not have a secure safe place for your order to be left (such as a trusted neighbour or enclosed porch), then do not place an order until you are in a position to accept delivery. A stolen parcel will not be replaced by Revision Killer and you will have to place a new order;

  5. If you live in an area where parcels are frequently lost or stolen, we can arrange for your order to be delivered to a local Evri parcel shop for safe collection. Please contact us to arrange this delivery option.

Delayed Order

A parcel may not necessarily be lost or stolen but simply delayed in transit.  All parcels are shipped the next business day for delivery within 3-4 days. However, parcels may arrive outside the estimated delivery date due to busy periods. We advise that an order may take up to 7 business days to arrive after dispatch and to monitor the tracking information provided before contacting us.

 

International orders may take longer to reach their destination as they must pass through Customs before being released for delivery. The Customs process and length of time for release of an order will vary from country to country. Where an order is held in Customs for clearance, it is evident from the tracking information.  This is not a process within our control. You must be prepared that Customs may contact you by email or phone for information regarding your order (such as payment of local duties and taxes) before agreeing to release it for delivery.

 

Cancellation Process

  1. In the event you would like to cancel your order before your copy of SQE Study Notes and/or SQE Flashcards has been dispatched, you have the right to do so but you should immediately contact us at sqeprep@revisionkiller.com to ensure we are aware of your cancellation before we arrange dispatch (which will be on the same day that your order is placed). You will have received an automated shipping confirmation email if your order has been dispatched.

  2. Should your order have been dispatched, then you will need to follow the Refund and Return Process to return your order to us to obtain the refund.
